As the song draws to its close, Gal and Caetano talk between themselves and with the string arrangement while the song starts to fade. It would be a satisfying finale to any pop song, except for the fact that this is no mere pop song. Instead, what we have is a little work of art, so beautiful and yet finishing in an ominous sound. To me, it sounds like a sound effect from some B-movie depicting an alien abduction. What is going on here? We have no time to figure it out before the song ENDS.
